Reasoning: Extreme Right, Propaganda, Conspiracy

Borderland Alternative Media (BAM) is a news and opinion website with an extreme right wing bias in reporting. All articles favor the right and are against the left. BAM uses strong emotional words in both the headlines and article content. While we could not find where Borderland Alternative Media was fact checked, we did discover the use of poor sources such as Natural News, which promotes right wing conspiracy theories and pseudoscience. BAM also promotes both conspiracy and pseudoscience through their repeated criticism of vaccines. Further, as an alternative media source they believe mainstream media promotes propaganda and fake news. Overall, we rate Borderland Alternative Media as Questionable based on extreme right wing bias, poor sourcing and promotion of conspiracies and pseudoscience. (D. Van Zandt 8/27/2017)
